Jim Hubbman received his M.A. in theology and philosophy from Benedictine Monastery School in St. Meinrad, Indiana, and currently teaches art and theology at St. Mary's High School in St. Louis. Encaustics by Robin Schlacter

About the Artist:

Robin P. Schlacter is a printmaker and painter with a love of color. She creates vibrant oil- based monotypes on paper and combined media paintings which are rich with color and texture. Her non-representational expressions create windows of color using gestural line, collage of textures and layers of intense hues which have been carefully blended. Her images resonate with movement and positive energy.

Robin Schlacter grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and has since resided in Tennessee. She has been a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists in New York, NY since 1993.
