The Arts Company Launches 20th Anniversary Year

“As The Arts Company on 5th Avenue of the Arts enters its 20th year in Downtown Nashville, I find this milestone as nothing short of a miracle… especially when you consider the path of the visual arts evolution that has recently occurred,” states The Arts Company owner Anne Brown.  “In the mid-90s, The Arts Company was the sole visual arts gallery in our neighborhood, and we launched popular well-attended monthly art events that became Music City’s First Saturday Art Crawl Downtown.  From 1996 to 2016, these events have offered a launching pad to introduce folk artist Thornton Dial, photographer Ed Clark, and the beloved Brother Mel, to today’s emerging and established artists Mandy Rogers Horton, Brett Weaver, Edie Maney, Daryl Thetford, and more…  Ultimately, I’ve wanted the gallery to be a place where people can feel welcome to come, see art that matters, and talk about the experience.  And, there’s so much more to come!”
