August 4-23 


The Arts Company presents Summer Impromptu, a curated selection of artists and artwork that highlight the Fresh. Original. Contemporary vibe of the gallery,  showcasing a diversity of photography, painting, sculpture, and more, August 4-23.  In addition, the Annual Avant-Garage Sale will be a one-day-only event on August 4, 11-9:00pm.  The exhibit will open that same evening on August 4, 6-9 pm, during First Saturday Art Crawl Downtown Nashville.  The Cassidy Cole, painter, exhibit will continue through August 23, during regular gallery hours, 11am-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

About the Exhibit

At the end of summer every year, The Arts Company staff selects a collection of artwork designed to emphasize the style and medium of each artist selected by highlighting the complementary qualities of disparate artwork in a gallery setting.  The broad range includes paintings, mixed media, photography, wood-block prints, sculpture, and more.

About The Annual Avant-Garage Sale and Collectors Art Exchange

The one day only Annual Avant-Garage Sale during the August First Saturday offers various gallery props and furniture; selected vintage furniture, and other treasures.  The Collectors Art Exchange is a related feature that presents a selection of artwork from collectors who are downsizing.  All together, the Avant-Garage and Art Exchange present an eclectic and unpredictable boutique and affordable arts market.
