Joe Fizer
Bio
Joe Fizer considers himself to be a self-taught photographer and a work in progress. Inspiration comes from the work of such photographers as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Henri Cartier Bresson. A more formal influence began at Nashville Tech.

A passion for photography has carried Joe across this nation from the coast of Oregon to the shores of Maine to the desert southwest. He continues to be drawn back to Middle Tennessee and capture some of the places that fill his memories as a boy growing up in Nashville.

Working in color and black and white, his photographs have been published in magazines, books, and posters. His fine art pieces are in private and corporate collections. He enjoys the support of many art retailers and galleries.

Joe is presently concentrating on two distinct projects: documenting a photographic journey of the Natchez Trace and capturing an ever expanding circle of Middle Tennessee memories.
